Oh those inconsiderate 18-wheelers. As if their imposing size and inability to ascend a hill faster than a turtle weren’t bad enough, now they want to own the entire road. As My Fox DFW reports, one big rig decided to take a nap on eastbound I-30 this morning and blocked the entire freeway. It also apparently drooled during it’s slumber, spilling fuel all over the countryside.
Thankfully, the driver appears to be okay – with minor injuries being treated at Baylor Medical Center for neck and leg injuries. 18-Wheeler accidents tend to be a little more severe than your average car accident.
As an aside, WFAA reports that this accident may have inadvertently caused two additional accidents behind it. Crews managed to upright the big rig and clear the road of debris. I-30 is open again. Drive safely, Dallas.
