Sunday wasn’t a fun day for shoppers and other drivers heading west on I-635. A six vehicle wreck between Preston and Montfort caused all westbound lanes to close for several hours while emergency workers cleared the wreckage and attended to injured drivers. Thankfully, no one involved in the wreck was seriously hurt.
Officials are still trying to determine what sparked the chain reaction accident – an investigation attorney Jeff Rasansky knows may take a long time. There are many factors that come into play during a multi-vehicle accident. Questions, such as was adequate braking distance being maintained between the vehicles?, need to be addressed.
Again, other than minor injuries and major travel delays, yesterday’s accident wasn’t nearly as bad as it could have been.
