BEDIAS, TX (05/16/2018) — An early morning accident involving a semi-truck kills 2 and seriously injures 2.
According to Texas State Trooper, Jimmy Morgan, around 7 a.m. Wednesday morning, Montiqua Mosely, 26, of Bedias, slowed her 2007 Mazda down to turn left off of Highway 90 onto a private drive when a semi-truck struck her from behind. Three children, ages 6, 5, and 2 were passengers.
Mosely was transported, via ambulance, to a local hospital with serious injuries. The 6-year-old passenger was transported, via helicopter, to a Temple hospital, also with serious injuries. Tragically, the other two children were declared deceased on the scene.
The driver of teh semi-truck, Mickael Compton, 30, of Missouri uninjured in th collision.
The accident is still under investigation.
