TEXARKANA, TX (06/05/2018) — An afternoon ride on a three wheel trike sends Donald Cole to the hospital with critical injuries.
In another motorcycle accident in Texas, Donald Cole, 65, of Texarkana is listed in critical condition after being struck when a pickup truck driven by Justin Rushing, 41, attempted a left turn in front of him.
An investigation reveals that Cole was riding a Honda Goldwing Trike southbound on Kings Highway when Rushing tried to turn left onto Arnold Crossing causing Cole, who was wearing a helmet, to be ejected off his trike. Cole was transported to Christus St. Michael Hospital where is in critical condition with life threatening injuries.
Rushing and his 10-year-old passenger we not injured in the accident.
The case is pending further investigation and no charges have been filed at this time.
