One person is dead and four others are injured after the SUV she was riding it slammed into a light pole.
This is the second fatal single-vehicle crash in three days involving five people.
Joe Harn, spokesperson for the Garland Police, reported to My Fox DFW that speed and alcohol were the main two factors being looked at in the wreck (the heavy rain also likely contributed). From what investigators gather, the SUV was driving eastbound on I-635 at the time of the accident. Around 5 a.m., as the vehicle approached Centerville Road, the driver lost control and crashed head-on into a utility pole.
One woman died at the scene. The other four passengers (two women, two men) were rushed to Parkland Hospital and Baylor Medical Center. Their conditions remain unknown. We can only wait and pray they recover.
It’s wet out there today. From auto accident attorney Jeff Rasansky – drive safely, Dallas.
