A bus that failed to yield the right of way in Corsicana was struck by an SUV, sending five special needs students and both drivers to the hospital with minor injuries.
Around 7:45 this morning, the minibus was carrying five students with special needs when authorities say it failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of 34th street and West Park Row in Corsicana. The bus was broadsided by an SUV and flipped over onto its side. The students and driver were taken to Navarro Regional Hospital as a precaution. Later, the SUV driver also went to seek treatment for accident-related pain.
This is the second accident involving a special needs bus DFW has seen this year.
Drive safely, Dallas!
