If you see a driver who keeps stopping and going with no apparent reason behind either action, be sure to give them some extra room. This is one of the surefire signs that they’ve had too much to drink and decided to get behind the wheel anyway. Remember to never get too close to these drivers from behind, as they may slam on the brakes at any given time.
No Headlights
In a major city like Dallas, it’s pretty easy to take off out of your driveway without realizing that your headlights are off. In fact, there are enough streetlights around that you can usually see pretty well without your headlights. When you see this, however, take it as a sign that the driver behind the wheel may be drunk. Sure, they may be a perfectly sober driver who simply forgot to flip on their headlights and who hasn’t noticed because of the bright city lights, but they may also have forgotten to turn on their headlights because they’re too drunk to be behind the wheel safely.
