Two people have been hospitalized with serious injuries after a wrong-way driver plowed into a car on I-20 early this morning.
For reasons that are still unclear, a lady was driving white sedan west in the eastbound lanes of I-20 during the early hours of the morning. Around 3:40 am, she struck a blue pickup truck near Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas. Both her and the male driver of the pickup were taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center with fractures and other injuries.
Wrong way collisions are always severe. The impact of having two cars driving at full speed at each other is greater than the impact of one call rear ending another vehicle, even if that vehicle is at full stop.
