Yesterday afternoon, 11 were injured when an 18-wheeler slammed into the back of a DART bus while it was stopped at a light on Loop 12 near US 175 and Buckner Blvd. The 18-wheeler was attempting to pass the bus when it struck the vehicle instead.
The driver and ten passengers, including at least one child, were taken to Baylor Medical Center and treated for injuries. Thankfully, the injuries have been minor and sustained mostly to the neck and back. The truck driver has received no injuries.
