A Forney resident who was also a constable for Dallas County Precinct 4 lost his life in a head-on collision in June. The officer was driving on FM 741 on his way home when the accident occurred, according to InForney.com.
The married Constable who was the father of two daughters was killed instantly in the crash. The crash occurred when a driver heading the other way suddenly crossed lanes, striking the victim head-on and causing his pickup to roll. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital where toxicology tests were conducted.
The accident occurred only four miles from the victim’s home, according to the article and a webpage is set up to help his family with donations.
