According to the Southeast Texas Record, a Texas driver has filed a lawsuit against a trucking company from North Dakota. According to the claim, one of the drivers for the trucking company was involved in a rear end collision with the driver, which resulted in the driver suffering grievous injuries.
This driver had the unfortunate experience of being struck by an 18 wheeler. These vehicles, of course, far outmatch any passenger vehicle in terms of mass and, when they run into a passenger vehicle, it’s not uncommon for that passenger vehicle to nearly disintegrate from the impact. The driver in this lawsuit, fortunately, was lucky to escape with his life, but this is not always the case in accidents involving commercial vehicles.
