Stephenville, Texas — A Monday afternoon (10/28/2013) accident on Highway 281 has left at least one hospitalized.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is still investigating a head-on accident in Stephenville in order to determine who may have been at-fault. The collision occurred when a minivan, which was reportedly heading south on Highway 281, collided with a northbound Chevy Suburban which was pulling a golf cart on a trailer. Again, we stress that as of press time, it is unclear which vehicle was at-fault.
First responders initially called for an air ambulance, but their request was declined due to adverse weather conditions. The driver of the mini-van was taken by ambulance to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Stephenville with unknown injuries.
