Grapevine, Texas — Two teenagers were injured Wednesday morning (10/30/2013) when their vehicle slid off the road and crashed into a tree.
Police have said they believe speeding and slick road conditions contributed to the accident, but of course we would like to remind readers that a full investigation is pending.
The accident occurred in Grapevine, TX around the 2700 block of Dove Road, near Silvercrest Lane when the 17-year-old’s car left the roadway and wrecked into a tree. Officials say the teen became trapped in the car and was freed about an hour after the collision. The 17-year-old driver was taken by ambulance to Parkland Memorial Hospital, while a 14-year-old passenger was taken to Children’s Medical Center Dallas with unknown injuries.
