Grand Prairie, Texas — A 23-year-old Yoseff Anwar Gosey was killed in a single-vehicle rollover accident on the President George Bush Turnpike at Egyptian Way in Grand Prairie Wednesday afternoon (10/30/2013).
Yoseff Gosey was reportedly driving a 2000 Honda CRV northbound on the Texas 161 service road when the vehicle lost control, left the roadway, went down the grassy embankment, rolled over a retaining wall, and landed on its roof in the northbound lanes of the President George Bush Turnpike (also referred to as Texas 161). Mr. Gosey was the only occupant, and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
This preliminary information was made available by Sgt. Eric Hansen, the supervisor of the Grand Prairie Police Department’s traffic section. Of course, a full investigation into the facts and circumstances of the accident will give us a much clearer picture of what ultimately may have caused the crash. This is Grand Prairie’s 18th traffic-related fatality reported this year.
