Boyd, Texas — Two men were hospitalized on Thursday (10/31/2013) following an accident on Highway 114, between the towns of Rhome and Boyd, Texas.
Texas DPS Trooper Gary Rozzell reports that 20-year-old Collin Kelley, of Azle, was driving westbound on Hwy 114, when for unknown reasons, his 2012 Honda Accord drifted into the oncoming lane and struck 55-year-old James Slimp of Decatur.
James Slimp was transported by ambulance to Wise Regional Health System in Decatur, while Collin Kelley had to be extracted from his vehicle before he was taken by ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
Trooper Gary Rozzell has said that both Mr. Slimp and Mr. Kelley were in good condition, and that their injuries are non-life-threatening.
