Arlington, Texas — Meghan O’Connor has died following a head-on accident on Dottie Lynn Parkway Wednesday night (11/13/2013).
Arlington Police say that at around 10:45 p.m., 30-year-old Meghan O’Connor driving southbound down Dottie Lynn Parkway somehow lost control of her vehicle, struck a light pole while crossing the median, and ended up crashing head-on into another motorist in the northbound lanes.
Ms. O’Connor was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, but unfortunately she did not survive her injuries. The male driver of the 2nd vehicle was transported to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth with injuries which were said to be non-life threatening.
At this point there is not much more information available to the public, but Arlington Police say an investigation is continuing.
