Arlington, Texas — A yet-to-be-named female motorist was killed in a Sunday morning (01/12/2014) rollover car accident at Interstate 20 and State Highway 360.
According to authorities, the female driver was traveling from the eastbound ramp of I-20 to the northbound lanes of Highway 360 at about 5:45 a.m. when she somehow lost control of her vehicle. The SUV then rolled down the embankment onto 360, crossing all lanes, and was struck by a black Nissan Cube which was travelling north on Highway 360. The victim was ejected from her vehicle. First responders performed CPR and provided medical care, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was reportedly uninjured.
The ensuing investigation blocked the northbound lanes of Texas 360 (just north of the I-20 interchange) for about four hours Sunday, but traffic has since returned to normal.
