Dallas, TX — 22-year-old Pablo Martinez has died following a Sunday (01/19/2014) night car accident on Royal Lane shortly after 10:00 p.m.
Pablo Martinez, of Dallas, was riding in the passenger seat of a truck which was being driven by Jacinto Gomez Benitez. The two were traveling east on Royal Lane toward Central Expressway (US-75) when the truck lost control and crashed into two trees near the 7600 block of Royal Lane. Mr. Martinez was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver, Jacinto Benitez, was also transported to the hospital in unknown condition, but was later arrested on suspicion of intoxication manslaughter.
It bothers me the amount of alcohol-related accidents in Dallas. I truly hope Pablo Martinez’s family is able to recover from such a tragedy, and that they are able to seek justice and compensation from those responsible.
