Forest Hill, Texas — 31-year-old Jeffery Rozas was killed, and five others were injured in a series of accidents on Southeast Loop 820 Monday morning (02/10/2014).
The accidents happened on SE Loop 820 near Anglin Drive in Forest Hill and involved four vehicles, including one 18-wheeler truck.
According to police, Jeffery Rozas appears to have lost control of his red SUV (which appears to be a Chevrolet Trailblazer) due to icy conditions and hit a guardrail. A second vehicle then struck his vehicle and Mr. Rozas was ejected from his vehicle. A third vehicle then struck Mr. Rozas. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Three victims were treated and released at the scene. One victim was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, while another victim was taken to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
