MESQUITE, TX (05/02/2014) — 54-year-old Maria Isaac, of Dallas, was killed in an early-morning car accident on I-30 in Mesquite, Texas.
According to police, an the driver of an SUV lost control of his vehicle on eastbound Interstate 30 near Gus Thomasson Road at around 3:30 a.m. and crashed into the back of a 1998 Ford truck. The truck swerved off the road, struck a pole, and crashed into a concrete barrier (Jersey barrier) underneath a bridge.
Maria Isaac, a passenger in the Ford pickup truck, was killed in the accident. The 31-year-old driver of the truck and one additional 53-year-old passenger were also injured in the accident. The 23-year-old driver of the sport utility vehicle was not seriously injured, according to reports.
