MANSFIELD, TX (7/20/2014) — 56-year-old Raymond Bell died in an accident Sunday night after his motorcycle was involved in an accident with an 18-wheeler truck.
According to reports, Raymond Bell (of Venus, Texas) was riding his motorcycle southbound on US 287 when he was involved in a 3-vehicle accident near Walnut Creek Drive at around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday night. The fatal accident involved Bell’s motorcycle, a passenger vehicle, and an 18-wheeler semi truck. All southbound lanes of Highway 287 were closed until rush hour on Monday as investigators worked the scene.
According to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office, Raymond Bell died of head and neck trauma. Police have not yet said if any charges will be filed.
