FORT WORTH, TX (9/10/2014) — One man is in critical condition and three women were also hospitalized following Wednesday afternoon car crash on Interstate 30.
The accident occurred at around 4:30 or 4:45 p.m. Wednesday afternoon when a man changing his tire on the side of I-30 was struck by a passing motorist. This accident then caused a chain-reaction crash involving two additional vehicles on the ramp from northbound I-35W to eastbound I-30. This ensuing collision also injured three women inside those vehicles.
The man who was outside of his car was critically injured and transported to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital. The three female victims were also taken to Harris Methodist; two in serious condition and one with minor injuries.
