DENTON, TX (05/15/2015) — Alaina McMillan, 28, was killed near Loop 288 and N. Locust Street in Denton, Texas after being involved in a head-on collision Friday night.
Denton police stated that 28-year-old Alaina McMillan died at the scene of a head-on collision on the 7100 block of North Locust Street (FM 2164), north of Loop 288 on Friday at around 7:30 p.m. in Denton, Texas.
Authorities say that McMillian was driving a silver Toyota Avalon when she and a 38-year-old man—who was driving a white Honda Accord—crashed. Neither driver had any passengers.
The driver of the Honda Accord was transported via CareFlite to Medical Center of Plano. The extent of his injuries are unknown at this time. Alaina McMillan was discovered deceased at the scene of the accident.
According to Troy Taylor, chief death investigator for Denton County, McMillan was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. The cause of her death remains under investigation pending autopsy results. There was no immediate word on which driver may have been at fault for the accident.
