MARSHALL, TX (05/23/2015) — 19-year-old Todd Lane Davis was killed in a two-car wreck on Saturday at the intersection of Highway 59 and Highway 80 in Marshall, Texas.
According to Marshall Police Department Public Information Officer Becky Holland, 19-year-old Todd Lane Davis was killed in a two-car wreck on Saturday at around 3:20 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 59 and Highway 80 in Marshall, Texas.
Police have released the name of the other driver involved: 29-year-old Sharketra Shardae Hilderth, of Houston. Hilderth was allegedly traveling in the center southbound lane of Hwy. 59 before the collision. Her two young children, a 10-year-old daughter and an eight-year-old son, were also in the vehicle at the time of the collision.
Authorities state that Davis was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Marshall police are still trying to determine the cause of the crash; this accident is pending investigation. Police say that charges may be pending based on the findings of toxicology reports and medical records.
