SAN ANTONIO, TX (06/21/2015) — A 22-year-old man allegedly caused a fatal head-on collision which claimed the lives of two, including his own, on Sunday morning.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that 22-year-old Connor Czar, and one other person, died following a head-on collision on Interstate 10 near Ralph Fair Road (FM 3351) early Sunday morning in San Antonio, Texas.
According to Bexar County sheriff’s deputies, Czar was traveling eastbound on I-10 around 7:00 a.m. in a maroon Toyota when he lost control of his vehicle, drove through the highway median, and struck a white pickup truck head-on.
The pickup truck caught fire, and the driver had to be extricated and transported to a nearby area hospital, where he later died.
After the initial crash with the pickup truck, Czar collided with a second pickup truck. The passengers in second vehicle suffered minor injuries.
Czar was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
