CONROE, TX (06/27/2015) — A three-car accident left one person dead, and injured three others on Saturday afternoon.
According to Montgomery police, 19-year-old Heather Boone was killed in a three-vehicle crash on FM 2854 at Ponderosa Road in Conroe, Texas on Saturday afternoon.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) stated that at around 3:30 p.m., Boone was traveling westbound along FM 2854 in a Pontiac Grand Prix when she crossed the center line and clipped an eastbound silver Hyundai, driven by 52-year-old Thomas Sheets, causing the Hyundai to roll over.
After the initial collision, Boone crashed into a dark blue Dodge pickup head-on, driven by 58-year-old Armando Cantu.
Boone was found entrapped and deceased at the scene. Her passenger, 30-year-old Robert Bitner, was in critical condition and also trapped in the vehicle.
Bitner, Cantu, and Sheets were all transported to Conroe Regional Medical Center for treatment. Sheets has been listed in stable condition while Cantu and Bitner remain critical.
