DECATUR, TX (07/02/2015) — 34-year-old Wesley Moss was injured after his pickup truck was struck head-on by another driver early Thursday morning.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), 34-year-old Wesley Moss, of Paradise, was injured after his pickup truck was struck head-on on FM 730 near County Road 4374 in Decatur, Texas.
Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Greg Reyero stated that a southbound passenger car driven by Diane Davis, 69, was traveling on FM 730 when it crossed into the northbound lane and struck a pickup truck pulling a horse trailer, driven by Moss, head-on.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Jan Morrow. Moss was transported via EMS to Wise Regional Health System in Decatur.
Reyero stated that is not clear why Davis was driving in the wrong lane before the accident. The DPS does not believe alcohol was a factor in the collision.
