STERLING CITY, TX (07/05/2015) — 31-year-old Brett Riggle has died following a head-on car accident caused by a wrong-way driver on Highway 158.
According to Texas State Troopers, 31-year-old Brett Riggle, of Midland, was killed on Sunday afternoon when his vehicle was struck head-on by a wrong way driver on Highway 158 in Sterling County, Texas.
It was reported that at around 3:30 p.m., Riggle was traveling westbound in a Nissan Altima when an eastbound Ford F-150—driven by 50-year-old Terry D. Campbell—struck his vehicle head-on.
Riggle was pronounced dead at the scene by Stacy Dyer, Sterling County Justice of the Peace. Campbell was transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment of unknown injuries.
The Texas Highway Patrol is investigating this deadly crash.
