DEL RIO, TX (07/07/2015) — A head-on collision between a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler claimed the life of 77-year-old Richard Gray on Tuesday.
According to authorities, 77-year-old Richard Gray was killed on Tuesday following an accident involving an 18-wheeler on Loop 79 in Del Rio, Texas.
Reportedly, Gray’s pickup truck was hit head-on by an 18-wheeler; however, the driver of the 18-wheeler denies entering the oncoming lane and causing the collision.
Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper II Amanda Cholick stated that Gray was transported to Val Verde Regional Medical Center for emergency treatment of injuries. Unfortunately, he later died.
No arrest have been made yet since investigators are still trying to determine who was responsible for this incident.
