ODESSA, TX (07/22/2015) — 21-year-old Maclane Barr was killed in a car-vs-dirt bike accident on Wednesday evening.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), 21-year-old Maclane Barr, of Monahans, was killed Wednesday night in a crash at the intersection of Knox Avenue and Triple Crown Drive in west Odessa, Texas.
Officers stated that at around 7:00 p.m., Barr was traveling northbound on Knox Avenue when he tried passing a car in a no passing zone. The car then collided with Barr as he was turning onto Triple Crown Drive.
Odessa Firefighters pronounced Barr dead at the scene.
There is no word on if any charges have been filed.
