FORT WORTH, TX (08/03/2015) — 31-year-old Jose Romero-Tapia was killed, and three others were injured, after a multi-vehicle crash early Monday morning.
The Tarrant County medical examiner’s website has identified 31-year-old Jose Romero-Tapia as the victim of Monday’s fatal, multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 between Crowley Road and McCart Avenue in Fort Worth, Texas.
Authorities stated that shortly before 3:00 a.m., a speeding truck collided with two vehicles on I-20. According to MedStar, Romero-Tapia was ejected from one of the vehicles and died at the scene of the accident.
The three other victims were transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas; at least one of the victims was transported with serious injuries.
This crash remains under investigation.
