MIDLAND, TX (08/01/2015) — Two people were killed, and another person was injured, in a head-on crash early Saturday morning.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, 23-year-old Phillip Leon and 38-year-old Ruben Mora were killed, and Jose Velazuez Ramirez was injured, after a Saturday morning head-on crash along Interstate 20 in Midland, Texas.
DPS Troopers stated that at around 1:00 a.m., 38-year-old Ruben Mora was traveling the wrong way on I-20 in a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu when he collided with a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup truck, driven by Ramirez.
The crash claimed the life of Mora, and his passenger, Leon.
Jose Ramirez was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment, and has since been released.
