AUSTIN, TX (08/19/2015) — 26-year-old Clayton Keller was killed, and two women were injured, following a wrong way crash on Wednesday morning.
Austin police have confirmed that 26-year-old Clayton Matthew Keller was killed in a wrong way crash in the 4300 block of Interstate 35 on Wednesday morning in Austin, Texas.
According to the preliminary crash investigation, at around 2:30 a.m., a 23-year-old woman was traveling the wrong way in the southbound lanes of I-35 in a white, 2011 Toyota Camry.
Clayton Keller was traveling in the correct direction in a black and orange, 2015 Toyota Scion when the Camry collided with his vehicle head-on.
Austin police reported that Keller died at the scene.
The female driver of the Camry, and her passenger, were transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge with serious, life-threatening injuries.
This fatal crash remains under investigation. At this time, police have not filed any charges against the driver of the Camry.
