CRAWFORD, TX (08/28/2015) — One man was killed, and one woman was injured, following a single vehicle accident early Friday morning.
According to authorities, 28-year-old Joshua Timothy Lalonde was killed, and 28-year-old Kristi Magers was injured, after single vehicle crash on FM 185 near Highway 6 in Crawford, Texas on Friday morning.
DPS Senior Trooper D. L. Wilson stated that at around 2:30 a.m., Magers was traveling westbound when she lost control of the vehicle at a curve and over-corrected. The vehicle then struck a sign and a tree.
The impact killed Lalonde, who was Mager’s passenger.
According to police, Mager was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center in Waco, Texas. She suffered broken bones and lacerations, but is expected to recover.
