GARDEN CITY, TX (09/03/2015) — A broadsided car accident injured two men: Rocky Rendon and Randy Galindo, and claimed the life of James Grice, on Thursday morning.
According to authorities, 35-year-old Rocky Rendon IV and 27-year-old Randy Galindo were both injured, and 32-year-old James Grice was killed, following a two-vehicle car wreck on Thursday morning along Highway 158 in Garden City, Texas.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers stated that a 2014 Chevrolet 2500 HD—driven by Grice—was traveling eastbound when it failed to control its speed and struck a 2007 Cub Cadet, driven by Rendon, who was attempting to make a left turn.
Grice was reportedly not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to officials, Rendon and Galindo—the two occupants of the Cadet—were transported to Midland Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
