JUSTIN, TX (10/11/2015) — A Sunday night motorcycle accident claimed the life of Reta Stowe.
According to police, 65-year-old Reta Stowe was killed on Sunday after a motorcycle accident along Texas 114 near Roaring River Drive in Justin, Texas.
MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky stated that the accident occurred at around 6:00 p.m. near the Texas Motor Speedway.
Stowe was a passenger on the motorcycle that experienced the accident, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Zavadsky, the driver of the motorcycle was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth in critical condition.
An update on his condition was not available on Monday.
Commentary
I wonder if highway construction in that area may have been a possible factor in this fatal accident. A look at Google StreetView indicates that that there was road construction when Google last captured that area of the highway, but there was no mention of it in the news report I read.
