CAMERON, TX (11/23/2015) — Allison Koenig was killed, and her husband was injured, when their vehicle was struck head-on by a wrong way driver.
Authorities have identified 46-year-old Allison Koenig as the victim of Wednesday’s accident in Cameron, Texas that occurred at the intersection of Highway 77 and FM 485.
According to police, at around 3:00 p.m., Koenig was traveling southbound along Highway 77 in a Dodge Caliber when a northbound Chevrolet Silverado crossed the center line and struck her vehicle head-on.
Allison Koenig died at the scene. Koenig’s husband, who has not yet been identified, was taken to a nearby area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
This accident remains under investigation.
