CISCO, TX (11/27/2015) — A four-vehicle accident involving an 18-wheeler truck has claimed the life of Jose Valdez.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has identified 50-year-old Jose R. Valdez as the victim of a Friday morning fatal accident along Highway 183 in Cisco, Texas.
DPS reported that at around 11:15 a.m., 63-year-old Veer Singh Mand was traveling northbound in a 2012 Kenworth semi-truck (towing a 2016 Wabash Trailer) when he struck a southbound 2013 Toyota Tacoma, driven by Valdez.
Valdez died in the wreckage.
A Dodge Avenger, driven by 46-year-old George Richard Brann, and a Jeep Cherokee, driven by 33-year-old Charles John Oliver, were also involved in the accident.
