LAKESIDE, TX (12/02/2015) — Brittany Bowhay was killed, and 2 men were injured, following a Wednesday night accident involving two-vehicles.
Authorities have identified 29-year-old Brittany Bowhay as the victim of a two-vehicle collision along Jacksboro Highway (TX-199) near Confederate Park Road in Lakeside, Texas.
Terry Grisham (a sheriff’s department spokesman) reported that at around 9:20 p.m., a two-door gray car entered Jacksboro Highway coming from Confederate Park Road and collided with a red four-sedan.
Bowhay, a passenger in the sedan, did not survive the accident.
According to MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky, the male drivers of both vehicles were injured. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
This accident remains under investigation.
