According to police spokesperson Debra Webb, the child was sitting in the back seat on the driver’s side next to his car seat, however, the child’s family states the toddler was in his safety seat. While a complete investigation will offer more information regarding this matter, the fact remains that the driver responsible for this accident failed to yield right-of-way and caused a wreck that was 100% preventable.
