Commentary
Google StreetView images do not appear to show anything which may have obstructed the driver’s view, so one has to assume that the driver who caused this accident more than likely failed to check for oncoming traffic before crossing the eastbound lanes of the highway. I wish I could say that I was surprised that the driver was found to be under the influence, but Texas (unfortunately) leads the nation in drunk driving fatalities. We’re thankful no one was killed in this accident, and hope for a speedy recovery.
