NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX (04/26/2016) — Landscaper Angel Soto suffered critical injuries on Tuesday after a suspected drunk driver left the roadway and struck him.
According to authorities, a 48-year-old landscape worker Angel Soto, a Dallas resident, was seriously injured in the 5400 block of Rufe Snow Drive near Buenos Aires Drive in North Richland Hills, Texas.
Police reported that at around 11:00 a.m., the 64-year-old driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee, identified as Michael Anthony Doyle, was traveling northbound when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, and struck a landscape worker.
The worker was transported via helicopter to a nearby area hospital in critical condition.
The driver was arrested and charged with intoxication assault.
