Commentary
DPS reported that roads were dry at the time of the collision, meaning that weather does not appear to be a factor. This crash may have been caused by simple negligence, but could also be the result of distracted driving or intoxication—either of which could lead to charges against the driver who cause the accident. We will wait for the investigation to be completed, and provide more information as it becomes available.
To those affected by this accident, we offer our condolences.
