Road conditions were cited as wet at the time of the wreck, which was one contributing factor. However, this accident was likely preventable if the driver who caused the crash had taken more care as she drove on the slick roadway. It was her responsibility to operate her vehicle more cautiously than usual, due to conditions. Her alleged failure to do so has caused an accident which has left a man seriously injured. Police have not said if the at-fault driver will be facing criminal charges.
