MOSS HILL, TX (06/17/2016) — The DPS identified Jordan Harpole and a 7-year-old child as the victims of a fatal, multi-vehicle accident on Friday morning.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), 32-year-old Jordan Harpole and a 7-year-old boy were killed in a car accident that occurred along Highway 105 in Moss Hill, Texas.
The DPS reported that at around 7:30 a.m., 40-year-old Jarod Lawrence Johnson was traveling eastbound in a Ford F-150 pickup truck when he crossed the center line and broadsided a Chevrolet pickup truck.
After the initial collision, Johnson crashed into a second pickup truck head-on, driven by 33-year-old Joshua Jordan.
Jordan Harpole and the child, both occupants of Johnson’s pickup truck, lost their lives at the scene.
Johnson was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The occupants of the Chevrolet were not injured in the wreck. Joshua Jordan was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
This accident remains under investigation.
