Commentary
Currently, it is unclear as to who had the right of way at the time of the accident; however, the crash is currently under investigation. Amarillo PD has announced that they have ruled out alcohol as a factor in this accident.
Interestingly, it appears as if the stoplight at Western and Hillside (58th Ave.) has undergone changes at some point in the past few years to add a flashing yellow turn arrow. Does this intersection have a history of right-of-way car accidents?
