GRAND PRAIRIE, TX (07/29/2016) — A three-vehicle wreck on Friday claimed the life of Daryl Salsbury and injured several others.
According to authorities, 38-year-old Daryl Lynn Salsbury was killed following a multi-vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of Texas 161 and Warrior Drive in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Police reported that at around 2:30 p.m., the 69-year-old female driver of a 2014 Lincoln was traveling westbound when she ran a red light and struck a southbound 2009 Dodge pickup truck, driven by Salsbury.
After the initial impact, the Dodge rollover and collided with a 2011 Chrysler that was stopped at the red light.
Salsbury, who was ejected from his vehicle, died in the wreckage.
The occupants of the Chrysler were treated at the scene.
Officials stated that the driver of the Lincoln was taken to Medical Center of Arlington with non-life-threatening injures. Her current condition is unknown.
