NEW BRAUNFELS, TX (08/07/2016) — A two-vehicle motorcycle wreck on Sunday night killed Lisa Durocher and left one other person injured.
According to authorities, 45-year-old Lisa Ann Durocher (of New Braunfels) was killed following a motorcycle crash at the intersection of FM 306 and Hunter Road in New Braunfels, Texas.
Police reported that shortly before 11:00 p.m., the 16-year-old male driver of a 2001 Dodge Neon attempted to turn left onto FM 306 from Hunter Road when he failed to yield right-of-way to an oncoming Harley-Davidson motorcycle, driven by a 54-year-old male.
“The male driver of the motorcycle was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center by Airlife in critical condition,” said Sgt. Chad Campbell with the New Braunfels Police Department. “The female passenger was transported by ambulance to the Resolute Hospital in New Braunfels where she was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital.”
The passenger of the motorcycle was identified as Lisa Durocher. The driver of the motorcycle has not yet been identified.
The driver of the Dodge, along with his two adolescent passengers, were not injured in the wreckage.
This accident remains under investigation.
