LINDALE, TX (08/14/2016) — A rollover wreck on Sunday morning claimed the lives of Autumn McWhorter and Jakob Rogers.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has identified 18-year-old Autumn McWhorter and Jakob William Rogers as the victims of a single-vehicle accident that occurred along Interstate 20 near Highway 110 in Lindale, Texas.
The DPS reported that at around 6:45 a.m., Rogers was traveling westbound in a 1999 Ford F-250 when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, struck a guardrail, and rolled over.
Both Rogers and his passenger, Autumn McWhorter, lost their lives in the accident.
An investigation is ongoing.
