KERMIT, TX (08/20/2016) — William Patterson lost his life on Saturday after an auto-pedestrian accident involving two vehicles.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), 19-year-old William L. Patterson lost his life in a two-vehicle crash that occurred along Highway 302 in Kermit, Texas.
The DPS reported that at around 12:21 p.m., 43-year-old Shebi Couch was traveling eastbound when she disregarded a construction convoy and made an unsafe lane change. Couch initially struck a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Max Ashley Jr., whose vehicle then collided with Patterson as he was walking in the area.
This accident remains under investigation.
